"New Year" =)

The New Year is the day that marks the time of the beginning of a new calendar year, and is the day on which the year count of the specific calendar used is incremented. For many cultures, the event is celebrated in some manner.
The New Year of the Gregorian calendar, today in worldwide use, falls on 1 January, continuing the practice of the Roman calendar. There are numerous calendars that remain in regional use that calculate the New Year differently.
The order of months in the Roman calendar has been January to December since King Numa Pompilius in about 700 BC, according to Plutarch and Macrobius. According to the Christian tradition, 1 January is the day of the circumcision of Jesus (on the eighth day of his birth), when the name of Jesus was given to him (Luke 2:21). Since then, 1 January has been the first day of the year, except during the Middle Ages when several other days were the first (1 March, 25 March, Easter, 1 September, 25 December).
With the expansion of Western culture to the rest of the world during the twentieth century, the 1 January date became global, even in countries with their own New Year celebrations on other days (such as China and Pakistan).
In the culture of Latin America there are a variety of traditions and superstitions surrounding these dates as omens for the coming year. January remains a symbol of the New Year's celebration.
The most common modern dates of celebration are listed below, ordered and grouped by their appearance relative to the conventional Western calendar.
The Gregorian calendar is now used by many countries as the official calendar. This has meant that celebrations for the New Year have become much larger than before. Some countries(e.g. the Czech Republic) even consider 1 January to be a national holiday.

                         Happy new Year 4 everyone..!!=)

"Christmas Day" =)

Christmas or Christmas Day is an annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ,  celebrated generally on December 25  as a religious and cultural holiday by billions of people around the world. A feast central to the Christian liturgical year, it closes the Advent season and initiates the twelve days of Christmastide.  Christmas is a civil holiday in many of the world's nations, is celebrated by an increasing number of non-Christians, and is an integral part of the Christmas and holiday season.
The precise day of Jesus’ birth, which historians place between 7 and 2 BC, is unknown. In the early-to-mid 4th century, the Western Christian Church first placed Christmas on December 25, a date later adopted also in the East. Theories advanced to explain that choice include that it falls exactly nine months after the Christian celebration of the conception of Jesus, or that it was selected to coincide with either the date of the Roman winter solstice or of some ancient winter festival.

Merry Christmas for all..!!=)

Feeding in Mexico.

Feeding in Mexico:
Authorities of the Mexican Social Security Institute disclosed that the lack of proper food has been central to the problems of obesity that live in the state and country.

Unfortunately, modern life has led most people to prefer fast food rich in carbohydrates and fats, to abuse and eating meals at times messy.

The right thing to say is to keep more than six hours between feedings and try to supplement with snacks or refreshments, mainly of fruit.

A person breakfast at eight o'clock to eat at two in the afternoon and eat at around eleven o'clock, a seasonal fruit or a light snack, they spend too many hours without eating is harmful to the body and requiring him to store energy and once the fast ends, the body stores more calories.

By staying too long without eating the body makes use of elements such as proteins, that are not designed as power sources, and causes changes that distort the natural mechanism of the body's balance

It is important to have a balanced diet that includes fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, milk and cereals and eat three meals a day in which they are distributed evenly the different food groups such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, minerals and vitamins.
